I grew up on good food and strong faith. My grandparents taught me early on that food isn’t just about what’s on the plate it’s about who you share it with.

I’m a chef, storyteller, & faith-driven creative with a love for food that feels like home.

From Cutting Grass at Eight to Cooking with Passion

I got my first taste of hustle cutting grass at 8 years old. That summer, my siblings and I volunteered to mow lawns for elderly neighbors, no pay. When it ended, I had $46.45 in tips and a whole new understanding of what work, service, and growth really meant.

That same work ethic followed me into the kitchen. I started cooking for family, then dove into culinary training, where I competed, traveled, and learned from mentors who pushed me to grow. My hands-on journey led me to Restore OKC Farm, where I learned to grow the food I cook. From there, I stepped into the restaurant world, eventually becoming Executive Sous Chef at Eastside Eatery. Each step taught me something new about leadership, creativity, and staying grounded in what matters.

Eventually, I started Chef E Catering. Now, I get to pour all that experience into what I create: soulful food, made with intention, served with purpose.

why i do this

I’m not just here to share recipes. I’m here to connect, and to remind people that food made with love hits different. My grandma used to say, "You know when food is made with love," and she was right. I bring that same energy to everything I do—whether it's a dish from my childhood or something new I’m experimenting with.

I’m here to share what I love, feed people right, and build something that brings people closer.
